PCO 1881 is the short-neck standard for PET beverage bottles. Its neck is about 4 mm shorter with 2 thread starts, saving about 1.8 g of PET per bottle in total. Your capper and closures must be set up for 1881.

AA can move from PET into the drink and change its taste; water is the most sensitive. Husky systems are designed to keep AA generation low.
At the same thickness it is stiffer and more puncture-resistant than 3-layer film, and often allows a thinner gauge.
